Smell: Mint Flakes are composed of 100% peppermint that has been dried in order to concentrate the aromatic elements of the leaves--bringing out the best qualities of this refreshing plant.

Flavors: It's all about aroma with mint.  These Mint Flakes have a fresh aroma that create a slight menthol effect-the full and bracing aroma perfectly captures the essence of cool mint.

Use: Use heat to release the essence of this aroma: steep these mint flakes in a hot sugar- water solution, then cool for a mint syrup, or steep in ice cream bases.  Sprinkle on top Greek-style food just out of the oven, then serve with a yogurt sauce.  For non-heat applications, crush the mint flakes ever finer between hands and sprinkle on food just before serving.  Even use for a deliciously simple tea.
